Janessa graduated from Murdoch University, Western Australia in 2018. She returned to Singapore not long after graduation where she spent 2.5 years working in a busy small animal practice. She particularly enjoys soft tissue surgery and has a small interest in exotic animal medicine. Always believing in ‘prevention is better than cure’, she places a huge emphasis on client education which in return improves the standard of care for her patients. Outside of work, she can be found at two extremes – lounging on her couch or working out at the local gym. Janessa is fluent in both English and Mandarin, and is able to do consults in both languages.
